Our Heart and Soul is  Our Team of Feeding Therapists

Our feeding therapists are some of the most highly trained feeding therapists around. We have taken extensive coursework in feeding. While many claim to be feeding therapists, they usually lack most of the foundational courses in feeding therapy, and sometimes don't have any specialty training in feeding at all. Unfortunately, not all Speech and Occupational therapists can or should be providing this extremely detailed and delicate therapy. Because of the fragile natures of the sensory system, our picky eaters are vulnerable to actually become worse with the wrong type of treatment approaches.

Our Approach

We use a play based approach using the SOS approach to feeding, which is the most widely researched and successful model for feeding therapy. We never force children to eat foods they are not ready to handle. Doing do can result in catastrophic regression and worsening of their condition. We also are all trained to provide oral motor therapy to remediate poor chewing and tongue skills. WE used a combination of oral motor and sensory to get to the root issues of why your child won't eat food.

Christine Miroddi,
MA CCC-SLP, CLSE

Christine is the owner and founder of Foodology. Christine helps parents who are struggling with mealtimes to learn how to get their children to love mealtimes so they can eat healthy, try new foods and everyone can have stress free meals.

She is the author of the book Mealtime Mindset, which gives parents a roadmap to getting your child to enjoy foods- without tears! Her therapy approach has helped hundreds of children and families to have successful mealtimes. Her goal is to help thousands of children and families learn these life changing strategies.

Having her own child that struggled to feed as an infant has motivated Christine to help other families who are struggling to feed their children. Christine has taken extensive coursework in how to remediate feeding disorders in children and has even help several adults to remediate picky eating through a combination of oral motor therapy, play based approach such as the SOS approach, and her own combination of strategies and mindset shifts.

Christine is a wife and mother of her son and her fur baby. She lives on Long Island and enjoys spending time outside with her family.
