We have two names and two logos! We started out as Cove Speech Language and Feeding Therapy (CoveSLFT) back in 2016. We saw a wider range of cases at that time. We have since narrowed our focus and had started to specialize in feeding and further feeding and myofunctional Therapy; as we learned the two are explicitly linked. So We still have Cove SLFT which mainly sees the early intervention population as well as some literacy cases. Foodology we created to send our families a clear message that we are feeding experts! Our Foodology Feeding Clinic makes up the majority of our cases now and even in early intervention in Suffolk and Nassau counties we are known as the feeding experts. Our heart and soul is our team of feeding therapists. It has been slow growing, mostly because Christine is a perfectionist and requires extensive training from each therapist prior to taking feeding cases due to the complexity of feeding and how easy it is to cause more harm than good if you don't know what you are doing!
